The inspiration for this range, originated in the beautiful Tweed Valley. The home of white sandy beaches, heritage listed hinterland and small villages. When you slowdown in the sleepy little pioneering country village of Uki it is easy to be thankful for the many beauties that exist.
Uki Village has over 100 years of history and is nestled at the base of the extinct Wollumbin (Mt Warning) volcano. It is surrounded by heritage listed sub-tropical rainforest, mountains and rivers. Plentiful rainfall ensures the environs are always green.
This clean and pristine environment attracts those who are creative and want to be in touch with nature.
Esther & Cameron wanted to support local creative and hence we set up the store "Handmade Uki" to showcase the abundant talent.
The store is located in the original salt room of the old Norco Butter Factory at Uki.
